The safety device consists of the high-voltage section, the static elimination section, and the overcurrent detection section. The overcurrent detection section is built into the high-voltage power supply. |
- |
The overcurrent detection section detects an overcurrent by measuring the return current to the secondary grounding side terminal on the high-voltage transformer and comparing it with the reference input value. |
- |
When it detects an abnormal leakage current on the static eliminating electrode or a high-voltage cable, the safety device shuts off the high-voltage power supply and activates an alarm. |
